oooh, actual lavender. beautiful! Thanks for sharing π
π Lovely. Lavender in sunshine and grape vines in the background. The perfect combination!
Love lavendar, just wish we could grow it this big here in Western Canada!
just came back from southern France – – ummmm – – YESTERDAY! Our house is now full of lavender! Love it!
Oh, please show us some pictures! I love France!
ohhhhh…..let me tell you….we were along the coast (Nice to Frejus)….but spent a few days in Gorges Verdon…..that place is nuts! Pics are still on the phone and in the camera…but do a google image search….and you will see the craziness! STUNNING PLACE! Your post made my “day after vacation crash” particularly difficult. π ahhh the memories…wish we were still there! Lovely photo!
Ok I will look that up! Did you drive there?
Yes……well…from Nice we drove to Castellane.(1.5 hours away) This is the town we stayed in. SUPER CUTE! They had all kinds of outdoor activities like rafting (which we did) and adventure parks. From there, it is about 1-2 hours drive to Gorges Verdon depending on the route you take. We took scenic route going…kinda scary……twisty roads, many with NO GUARDRAIL! Anyway…it was a great experience….
Another spot to put on my travel list! I will have to live to be 110! I hope you blog about your adventure! I will look forward to it! Gorges Verdon looks, from the google map, like a national park, is it?
Yes…I have a LOT of writing to do! π Anyway…yes….there is a big national park right there. And I highly recommend it as a place to add to your list. It is nice because you can do a few days there and then go to the beach too…..nice combo π
