The Green Cottage Painted in Brushstroke
I have been waiting and waiting to get photos of the old southern cottages, in my little part of the world, during Spring. Not only are the cottages nostalgic of days gone by, but their gardens reflect the love put into them! There are quite a few of these beauties, so over the course of the next few weeks I will be adding them to the IPhriday Photo Challenge. No respectable southern cottage is good without a porch to sit and drink Sweet Tea on!
Enjoy the IPhriday Photo Challenge! Post a photo taken with your Phone on Fridays! It is great fun getting outside to see what is going on!

Every house should have a porch! I love the Brushstroke version
I know, you had to have a porch here especially in the days before air conditioning! These cottages were built in the 1900’s. I liked the brushstroke photo the best too!

Sweet Tea on the porch? Count me in! I agree- I’ll meet up with you in the Brushstroke picture. 🙂
Deal!
It was well worth waiting for the daffodils to flower. Your paintings are lovely Cady.
They had the Christmas decorations still up until last week! I went by once a week to check! Thought at one time I ‘d stop and ask if they needed help taking them down and then voila they were off!
Some people just don’t like to rush do they? How frustrating for you but it all came together nicely in the end!
Porches rock! I did download Waterlogue and have been playing with it too after seeing your iPhriday pix.
