IPhriday Photo Challenge: YOU r LOVED!

YOU r LOVED

YOU r LOVED

A couple of weeks ago, when I was out walking my dog, I saw the neighbor boys, I’d say around ten to twelve in age, hovering along on their boards. They said hey and I said hey and we went on our merry way.  Returning to my house, which is a little off the beaten path, I saw the boys scurrying around the corner of the way (I have a Way to my house you see) going to their house.  Heads down, no more waves.  Hmmmmm………

When I got to my door there was a note on it. YOU r LOVED.

My first reaction was, Did they just leave me a note?

Then I thought, Do they leave all old ladies a note?

Then I thought, Do they carry sticky notes and pens around with them when Hovering?

Then I thought,  Was the note a church project, or something like that?

Then I thought, I AM THINKING TOO MUCH! Simply enjoy the Note! YOU R LOVED!  I saved the note. I think a lot of people could use the note this week! I think many of us need the message on Good Friday! Thank You!

PS If the boys didn’t leave the note, then I have a secret admirer, and that’s a good thing for an old lady too! It’s good to let your husband know somebody else loves you too!

Enjoy the IPhriday Photo Challenge! Post a photo taken with your Phone on Fridays! It is great fun getting outside to see what is going on!

Gosh – how lovely. It sounds like the boys to me. As you say, maybe they had a sermon on telling people that you love them. It doesn’t matter though what prompted it, it was still a lovely, and brave thing for boys that age to do. And they must think a lot of you too. I’m sure the secret admirer is a possibility too.

No the secret admirer is out I am sure. That comment was in jest. I thought the note was quite a lovely gesture! Yes, I’m with you about boys thinking of doing this!
