Thursday Doors: On the Road Again

Christmas at Indianapolis Airport

Christmas at Indianapolis Airport

I’m on the road again, so here are two quick pics today. It’s Christmas at the Indianapolis Airport! All the light comes from the doors and windows! I have to say this is a fantastic airport! Everything is on time and everyone is so helpful and courteous!

I’m touring IUPUI (Indiana University/ Purdue University, Indianapolis) where all the light comes through the doors and maybe a very narrow window! Having a great time! See you next week!

This is just one of many photos in the Thursday Door Collection featured by Norm2.0! Β  Won’t you join in or take a peak at all the doors?

Wonderful to have the lights and decor but even better to have things on time and all! Yeah baby- and my least fav is Atalanta – always

Personally I wish places would at least wait until Dec. 1st to start putting up Christmas decorations but it looks like that is a losing battle πŸ˜‰
Thanks for joining us this week.

Lovely! Have a great trip. Say ‘hello’ to my niece who is getting her PhD there, as well as an old high school chum who works there! :o) Looking forward to upcoming posts! Take care.

I, too, prefer waiting until after Thanksgiving for Christmas decorations but if I avoid malls (can’t remember when I was last in one), it’s not so bad. Some cities have lights up already, but they look beautiful, so I don’t mind.

Yes I like the lights too.It seems like the shops want everything up early to encourage folks to shop. Even our little town with one gift shop had Christmas window very early this year!

I work two days a week in a tea shop and I’ve learned that in retail, you have to be ahead of the seasons because people are already shopping for whatever is coming up. The store Christmas decorations went up a little over a week ago, but we’re not playing Christmas music yet and we haven’t lit the lights on the tree.
